On installation day, the crew removes the old furnace and disconnects the gas line, flue, and electrical connections. The new unit is set in place, leveled, and connected.
The gas line is pressure-tested, the flue pipe is attached and checked for proper draft, and the electrical wiring is connected to the disconnect and thermostat.
The crew verifies that the condensate drain is routed correctly if the new furnace is a high-efficiency model.
After the connections are made, the technician fires the furnace, measures the temperature rise across the heat exchanger, and checks gas pressure at the manifold.
The blower speed is adjusted to match the ductwork and the airflow verified at the supply registers. You get a written warranty document and a walkthrough of the thermostat controls.
Advantage is a Bryant factory authorized dealer and also installs Payne furnaces as an economy option. HVAC equipment carries a 10-year parts warranty to the original buyer. The labor warranty is a minimum of 1 year and extends to the full financing term if you finance. Financing at 0% for up to 72 months.
